Influencer Marketing in India for UK Brands

UK brands used to the ASA and CMA’s rules on paid partnerships are often surprised that India has its own, different framework. We run India campaigns from India and keep your brand safe on both.

Why UK brands look at India

Entering India as a growth market

UK beauty, fashion, food and wellness brands look at India for scale. Creator-led launches are the fastest way to see how a product reads before committing to distribution.

British-Indian and India-facing audiences

Some brands want Indian creators for a diaspora audience in the UK, others for audiences inside India. These are different briefs with different creators, and we separate them from the start.

Working hours that actually overlap

Of the major markets, the UK has the easiest overlap with India. Calls and approvals happen the same day, not the next.

What to plan for, coming from the UK

Your home rules (ASA / CMA influencer rules) and India’s rules are different. These are the points we plan with you.

ASA/CMA versus ASCI

UK rules on clearly labelling ads do not carry over automatically. ASCI’s guidelines require a clear disclosure label on sponsored posts in India, and creators need briefing on the exact wording and placement.

Claims and category rules

Beauty, health and food claims are regulated differently in India. We review copy and creator scripts before anything is posted, but your own regulatory team should confirm product claims for the Indian market.

Currency and invoicing

Quotes are custom and can be issued in USD or INR. Tax treatment for overseas clients is confirmed on the quote.

Working across time zones

India is 4.5–5.5 hours ahead of the UK.

There is a comfortable overlap: a call at 10 am UK is 2:30–3:30 pm IST, in the middle of our working day.

What we handle in India

Vetting creators you cannot see

Follower counts are easy to inflate. We manually review audience quality, comment patterns and past brand work, and give you the analytics we used.

Indian disclosure rules

Sponsored posts in India need a clear disclosure label under ASCI’s influencer advertising guidelines. We brief every creator and check posts before they go live.

Language and city fit

India is many markets. A Hindi-belt creator, a Tamil creator and a Mumbai English creator reach very different audiences, so we choose by audience, not by niche alone.

Contracts, approvals and payments

Usage rights, deliverables, revisions and payment schedules are agreed in writing with each creator. You deal with us, not with fifty individual creators.

How it works

01

Brief by message or call

Share your product, goal and target audience on WhatsApp, email or a booked call. No lengthy forms.

02

Custom quote

You get a written quote in USD or INR. We do not publish rate cards because scope varies too much.

03

Vetted shortlist

Typically within 48 hours of a clear brief: real handles, audience analytics and the reasoning behind each pick.

04

Run and report

We brief creators, manage approvals and send written reports timed to your working day.

Our track record, stated plainly

Our published work is with Indian brands (see case studies). We are not claiming United Kingdom client results we do not have. What you get is a team on the ground in India, a vetted network of 1 Lakh+ creators, and custom quotes in USD or INR. See our influencer marketing service and the free campaign budget planner.
